Bottled at natural colour, like all our whiskies, its naturally deep amber tone is a results of the four decades' long maturation in oak casks. Whisky Profile: A balance of sweetness, spice and depth is achieved through a carefully curated combination of casks. A high proportion of first fill sherry seasoned casks enhances richness and a mixture of both American and European oak adds different flavour dimensions. The wood derived flavours compliment the fruity and delicate character of our new make spirit which, after 25 years, wields significant influence on the fragrance, refinement and aromatic quality of the whisky.
